Our Covenant:

We promise to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and we take as our rule of life the words: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." (Luke 10:27; NRSV)

We take this Church to be our Church, and ever mindful of our fellow members, we promise to walk with them in faithfulness and Christian love.

We promise that so far as possible we will attend the services of this Church, share in its mission, and endeavor to make it a fruitful body of Christians.

Norfield Congregational Church is a member of the Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ.


WELCOME! My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I am privileged to serve as Norfield's Senior Minister and let me tell you, great things are happening here. If you are seeking a church to call home, a church that believes the Bible is central to our lives or you want to be challenged in your faith, I can tell you that Norfield Congregational Church is the place to be. Norfield holds that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. We take as our rule of life the words: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." (Luke 10:27; NRSV) and we believe that no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcomed in this place, in the House of God and in the family of God. Norfield is a multi-cultural, ethnically diverse congregation that seeks to fulfill Jesus' Commission to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all people in all places regardless of background.
