The Nominating Committee seeks input from the congregation and identifies candidates for positions on boards and committees. Whenever possible they attempt to keep the make up of each board or committee representative of the greater church body, enlisting old and young, men, women, and youths. They present a slate of nominees each year to the congregation for approval at the Annual Meeting.

If vacancies occur during the year, the Nominating committee brings names of candidates to the Church Council for approval. The Nominating Committee also identifies candidates for positions on Temporary Committees, including Search Committees.
