A note from the Deacons: Norfield Church welcomes all congregants to join us for in-person worship in the Norfield Sanctuary as well as online via YouTube. The Holy Spirit is truly alive at Norfield, and fills our Sanctuary every Sunday as we join our hearts together in prayer, music, faith and devotion to Jesus Christ. Please feel free to wear a mask if you choose; we will also provide masks to those who need one. To learn more visit Connecticut's COVID-19 guidelines.
During the summer, Norfield is one of several area churches that co-lead worship services on certain Sundays at 8:30am at Westport’s beautiful Compo Beach. Other participating churches include Saugatuck Congregational Church, Greens Farms Congregational Church, United Methodist Church of Westport and Weston, and Wilton Congregational Church.
It’s a BYOC event — “bring your own chair.” Everyone can park for free, even if you don’t have a Westport beach sticker — just tell the gate attendant that you’re going to the church service. Look for us by the cannons on the southern-most point of land. When services have concluded, all participants have been asked to exit the beach area (otherwise you risk being ticketed if your vehicle does not have a Town of Westport beach emblem on the windshield).
Dress code is beach casual – flip-flops and nice shorts are fine. Please join our expanded community of faith for a worship service that will include (hopefully) bright sunshine, warm breezes, and the sound of the waves in the background. All are invited!
