Save the date: Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2022

Monday, January 17

martin luther king jr portrait

Each year on the third Monday of January we observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. King was an influential civil rights leader, best known for his work on racial equality and ending racial segregation in the United States.

On this day, his life and achievements are remembered and celebrated. We reflect on the work he did - and that remains to be done - to achieve racial equality in the United States and around the world.

Please "save the date" this coming Monday, January 17th, 2022. We hope everyone will join together to make the holiday more than just a day off and take time to reflect — and take action — on civil rights issues here at home, and across the globe.
