A note from the Deacons: Norfield Church welcomes all congregants to join us for in-person worship in the Norfield Sanctuary as well as online via YouTube. The Holy Spirit is truly alive at Norfield, and fills our Sanctuary every Sunday as we join our hearts together in prayer, music, faith and devotion to Jesus Christ. Please feel free to wear a mask if you choose; we will also provide masks to those who need one. To learn more visit Connecticut's COVID-19 guidelines.

MANY, MANY THANKS to ALL!!
Have you been attending services at Norfield for a while, but haven’t joined the Church? Norfield and the Membership Ministry Team will offer a New Member Information Session on Sunday, September 24th following regular Church Service. The meeting is designed for all who are interested in exploring membership at Norfield.
Stop by Fellowship Hour in the Parish Hall to get a cup of coffee, then join us in the Banks Room a little bit after 11am. Kindly RSVP to Teri Gaberman at tgaberman@norfield.org on or before September 19th.
Reverend Wilson, along with members from several of Norfield’s Boards, will be on hand to talk about the many programs and services Norfield Church provides for children, youth, families, and adults; as well as to answer any questions you may have about membership in general. Babysitting will be provided.
The advantages of becoming a church member are many. For example: members are able to take part in leadership positions, plus they can exercise a vote at our Annual Meeting and other special congregational meetings (called when important decisions must be made). Membership is a sign of a desire for an increased threshold of participation in the vibrant, joyful, illuminating, and outreaching life of Norfield church. There is never any pressure to join the church, however there’s always a warm invitation to do so! We will receive those interested in church membership during worship service in October.
The Norfield Church Membership Ministry Team,
Matthew Carrothers, Elise Cavanaugh-King, Chris Edwards, Teri Gaberman, Karen Moraitis, Susan Moran, Chair, Susan Robert, and Skip Wyatt
