The Norfield Congregational Church 2021 Pledge Drive
A pledge is an intentional response to God’s gifts in our lives. In deciding how much to give, some follow “percentage giving,” a traditionally a percentage of one's income. There is also the idea that comes from the bible of dedicating the “first fruits” of our labor off the top (rather than what’s left after our expenses have been covered). No matter what we are able to pledge, we have discovered that committing to a level of giving honors God’s generosity to us.

Sunday Offerings: Sharing God's Abundance

Holiday Season 50/50
First created in 2012, the concept behind Giving Tuesday was a simple one: to observe a day that encourages us all to do good. Since then it has grown into a global movement, inspiring millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. This year's Giving Tuesday takes place Tuesday, December 1st. Since our annual auction dinner and fundraiser was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, raising funds to support the ministries, families and activities of the church's Outreach and Social Action Board work, as well as Norfield's Minister's Discretionary Fund (MDF) has been a challenge.
As part of Giving Tuesday, we are asking for your help to support these programs. Your donations enable Rev Wilson to help families and individuals in crisis that need help for the holiday season. Donations will be split, 50% for Outreach and 50% for the MDF, hence the name Holiday Season 50/50. Any amount you donate, large or small, enables Norfield to make a profound difference in our community and in the lives of others.

Stewardship Stories
Norfield Congregational Church is a vibrant, active community of people for whom Stewardship is a way of life, and who thrive on helping one another. We look forward to publishing stories from members about their experiences with giving, serving, attending and growing — and how it has affected themselves and the lives of those around them.
