An important message from our Church Ministers and our Moderator
As we all know by now, COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) is a serious international health concern. It has become a focus of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State of Connecticut.
On guidance from the United Church of Christ, Norfield Congregational Church worship services will not be open to the public until further notice. Read more…
In the meantime, want our Norfield family to know that the church is taking all appropriate precautions to mitigate the spread of this virus:
- The staff are cleaning and sanitizing our facilities
- Our Deacons are taking appropriate steps for worship service, i.e, guidelines for passing of the peace, communion, plate offerings, etc. and our Fellowship Committee is establishing best practices for Fellowship Hour
- As part of the larger community, we continue to pray for the safety of everyone
Please click on the links below for recommendations from the CDC and the United Church of Christ. Let us adhere to these recommendations as closely as we can. Please let us know if you have specific concerns or questions.
Thank you.
